This workshop has been designed for anyone involved in preparing for and facilitating appraisals, irrespective of the level of experience. HBT has a unique approach to management development: we believe that getting the mind set right is the key to making the process effective, inspiring and even enjoyable!

Coffee from 9.15 for a 9.30 start - finish at 4 pm. The workshop includes:

· Fitting appraisals into the wider context - business plan, performance management and training plans

· Setting criteria (Job Descriptions, KPI's, Objectives and Competencies)

· Past Performance, Development Needs, Future Performance

· Career Development

· Which forms and why

· Preparation

· Facilitation skills for conducting appraisals

· Making it inspiring, fun and profitable

· How to get the best out of the appraisal review

· How to translate appraisals into on the job development and performance

· Following up

Delegate places are £ 135 , plus VAT and this includes lunch and refreshments. In addition, all delegates receive a detailed 'How-To Manual' and email support for up to 3 months following the workshop. If you are currently eligible for Leadership and Management grants via the Train To Gain team at Business Link Wessex, you may be eligible for a 50% subsidy.
